Privacy Policy

Organisers: name, email address, league details (name, venue, schedule, prices) and the mobile numbers you add to your squad list.

Players: mobile number (to confirm you're on the organiser's squad list), name, email address (added when you claim a spot), match replies, pickup requests and payment status.

Technical: basic sign-in and device information needed to keep your account secure.

To confirm squad membership, send sign-in links, receipts and match updates by email, show organisers who is attending and who has paid, and keep the service running and secure. We do not send SMS and we do not sell your information.

Payments are made by Interac e-Transfer directly between players and organisers (and between organisers and HalfSquad for subscriptions). HalfSquad never holds player money and never sees your banking details. We only record what the organiser confirms: amount, reference and date.

Your league's organiser and co-organisers can see your name, mobile, email and payment status. Other players see only your name in the squad list. Phone numbers and emails are never shown publicly.

We use trusted providers to host the app, store data and send email. They process information only on our behalf.

We keep account and league information while your account or league is active. Payment records are kept as a permanent ledger so organisers have accurate history. You can ask us to delete your account at any time; some payment records may be retained where needed for accurate records.

You can update your name in the app. To correct your mobile or email, contact your organiser. To access, correct or delete your information, email notifications@halfsquad.com.

Data is encrypted in transit, and access is restricted so each organiser only sees their own league.
